Viper Flex Styx - Journey

Viper-Flex® Styx Journey is a further development of our successful Viper-Flex® Journey shooting sticks. The improvements to Viper-Flex® Styx include:

Viper-Flex® Styx Journey is operated with one hand. A handle on the side of the sticks allows you to unfold the sticks with your hand forward, ready to shoot. The handle can be moved to the right, allowing shooters to pass, shooting from the left shoulder.

There is a built-in transmission in both uppers, which means that they are always in the same position relative to the spreading angle of the legs. (like a compass). With this system it is now possible to spread the legs, to normal standing shooting height, if you grab the handle on the side and around the left pair of legs and lift the sticks off the ground. Squeeze the handle. If you need a little higher or lower rest due to the nature of the terrain, you can easily adjust this by grabbing one leg and adjusting the spread angle. To use the stick to shoot seated or kneeling, simply shorten the legs and spread them to the desired angle.

Also new are the rubber feet of the Viper-Flex® Styx Journey. They are designed to be used on hard, smoother surfaces, to 'bite' into the ground with a wider spread angle and to walk on soft surfaces.
The wide crib, traditionally the front has been widened so you can now cover a larger area without having to move the stick.

The fork that was previously only intended to support the chainstay is now open and features a full rubber coating on the surfaces. As a result, the Viper-Flex® Styx Journey can now be used in both directions. The fork can now support the front stock and the side adjustment can be done in the same way as when using bipods on the rifle.

The top locking pin, which holds the legs, is now integrated into the top and made of rubber. This ensures a quieter operation of the sticks.

The edge of the uppers is now widened so that it is the rubber on the side that touches the front legs, which reduces the noise when carrying the shooting sticks.

Viper-Flex® Styx Journey is a strong and very stable set of shooting sticks, which can be used for lying, sitting, kneeling and standing shooting without having to purchase additional accessories. (However, we still recommend using Single Leg for support for even better stability).

The unique design means you get solid support as you shoot, reducing the risk of quarry injury.

Use the Viper-Flex® Styx Journey for stalking and driven hunting, as a support for your binoculars during the hunt or as a one- or two-legged shooting stick.
